YEAH....Sooo my math final was today and I believe I did pretty good. The class is of course Calculus,
me being a Computer Science major. Another oddity about me, no matter I may do in the class, I really enjoy math and calculus. Others loathe it, those usually are not the people desiring to be engineers, but many have to take mathematics classes anyway.

If you take many math or science classes in public universities then you would know that most of the TA's do not come from the United States, additionally they do not come from countries that speak English as their first language. This can often be a problem...especially for someone whose career will involve math on a daily basis. I mean, unlike the imp from my prior post, these TA's are not inherently evil, however the effects of the poor English skills are just as destructive.

You see there are many words in the sweet art of mathematics that require correct pronunciation. For an example, asymptote, or Rene Descartes. During my math exam I took a second to count how many foreign TA's were proctoring exam. There were in total 7 out of the 8 TA's who hailed from foreign countries. When walking around campus, one would note that their numbers are only matched by the overpopulated countries from which they hail. And it seems they have infiltrated every single faucet of math and science in order to overwhelm us with mispronounced words.

Next comes the loser TA.
