Jim Walden needs to be Smited! I say this not as a Michigan fan alone. true what the BCS has done is quite a tragedy. Michigan is definetly a better team than Florida. Yeah, Michigan had the easier schedule, but then again, they did not have to use a fake punt in order to defeat a 1-AA school. Anyway...that is the past...I was too infuriated to make a post about that travesty, so now I must speak about a different travesty, along with that. Jim Walden...he represents an idiocy that is completely in line with the BCS. Jimme boy voted Florida ahead of Ohio State. Is he for real? Jim Walden is a coach, who has a vote in the Harris poll (by the way is record is an awesome 72-109-7). His argumen goes as follows, the Big Ten is not that great this year. With only three quality teams, he believes that Ohio State had it pretty easy. Well...I'd like to tell Jim Walden he is insane. Ohio State may have had an easier schedule, but that is why its defense has the least amount of point scored upon it, and that is why Ohio State has scored so many points on other teams. Someone need only watch the team play and they will see that they are amazing. Yes, I said that, the same thing goes for Michigan. If Florida is so great, they would never have had such close games. Ohh, and lets not forget that that Ol' Jim voted Oklahoma 4th, Bosie State 5th and Wake Forest 7th....no wonder his record sucks.
